What is a social score?
Your social score is the result of a detailed analysis of all your social media interactions, including any indication of your spending habits, and when and where you post. Direct Social will create a complete overview of your social media presence, translating this into a score which can be used to define your personality, including how trustworthy, employable and creditworthy you appear to be.
Why does my social score matter?
A growing number of companies, including banks and major employers, are using social scoring to assess people and make decisions. This means that your social media activity could directly affect important moments in your life, such as whether you get the job you want or bank loan you need.
What will my digital footprint report consist of?
Your report will present a complete breakdown of your social media presence, including your total social score, the personality traits you display online, when you are most active on social media, where you post from according to your profiles, your spending habits, and the most frequently used words in your posts. Essentially, it’s all your social media activity, all in one place.
How do I get my digital footprint report?
All you need to do to get a full digital footprint report is to add your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn profiles to your Direct Social account, then go to your dashboard. Make sure you add your profiles for all three if you have them, so we can create the most accurate, reliable report.
How many times can I see my social score?
As a subscriber to Direct Social, you get unlimited access to your dashboard. You can check your social score as often as you like, day or night.
Can I change my contact details?
It’s simple to change your details – just sign in and go to your profile page. There, select the ‘My Details’ panel and amend your information. Any changes will take effect immediately.
Can I change my password?
Change your password whenever you want, as often as you like. Sign in, go to your profile page and click on ‘Change Password’. Once you’ve entered your new choice, click to confirm the change and it will take effect immediately.
Can I change my payment information?
To update or correct your payment information, you’ll need to get in touch with our customer services team. Fill out the contact form on our help page, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 0845 565 1932, from Monday to Thursday 9am-6pm, Friday 9am-5pm. We’ll be happy to help you.
Can I have a refund?
Direct Social is a monthly subscription service. You may cancel your account at any time, without penalty. However, you are not entitled to receive a refund for any payments debited before the point of cancellation.
I’m having trouble signing in. Can you help?
If you experience any difficulties when you try to sign in to Direct Social, click on ‘Forgotten Password?’ in the sign-in window. You’ll quickly receive an email from us allowing you to reset your password and regain access. If this doesn’t work, contact our customer services team using the form on the help page, or by emailing us at email@example.com or calling us on 0845 565 1932, from Monday to Thursday 9am-6pm, Friday 9am-5pm.
